Selena Italy continues its activities despide the pandemic crisis.

Despite the pandemic crisis, Selena Italy continues its activities in  planning  the works intended to be developed  the next year, and with active attendance  in important events organized by our national and European partners like the ITWIIN 2020 Award and the AFAEMME Annual Assembly, two important associations for the promotion of women’s businesses that took place for the first time virtually due to the global provisions for Covid 19.

ITWIIN Award 2020.

On 18.11 from Milan, in collaboration with Assolombarda and Steamiamoci, ITWIIN presented its annual Award on digital platform followed by 190 users, with important speakers and concluded with awards to the Inventors, Researchers, Creators and mentions of great interest for the sector.

Our partner, and board Rita Assogna -in her capacity as past-president and ITWIIN founding member-  has virtually “handed over” the awards.

The AFAEMME Annual assembly, during the 12th edition of the FORUM MEDAWEEK Barcelona.

The AFAEMME Annual Assembly took place on november 20th from Barcelona, at the end of the FORUM dedicated to Mediterranean women’s businesses such as SelenaItaly. We prepared a contribution in the video on the Mediterranean entrepreneurial situation and the impact of the Covid pandemic.

In the Forum we met with colleagues from Malta, Cyprus, Egypt, Tunisia and with delegates of women’s business associations from Greece, France, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Jordan, Montenegro, Palestine and Turkey where the Kagider association will host the annual assembly November 2021.

Selena Italy is on the Board as an expert, during the final assembly we voted to join other Associations such as Croatia and Portugal.
It was decided to create a steering committee and groups of sectoral business associations, to work together and to arrange an upcoming meeting in the spring dedicated to the dissemination of projects.
We will work together to prepare the great November meeting, which from now on can also be celebrated in a 'hybrid' mode to allow participation and cooperation according to the shared motto of joining forces to face challenges. Join forces to face the challenges!
